Question 1

Why would a park system offer its own passport?

Accepted Answer

A passport gives visitors a reason to see more of your sites, not just the famous one. People plan return trips to finish a page, seek out quieter parks to collect them, and bring the book back year after year. It also gives your park stores a keepsake that's unique to your system.

Question 2

Who is it for besides park visitors?

Accepted Answer

Visitor bureaus, trail associations, heritage areas, historic site networks and companies that want a meaningful gift for staff or clients. If you have a set of places worth collecting, it can be a passport.

Question 3

Can we sell it in our stores, or give it away?

Accepted Answer

Either. It works as a retail item in park and gift stores, or as a free incentive for a challenge or anniversary program. Tell us your plan and any retail requirements, such as barcodes or price labels, and we'll include them in the quote.

Question 4

Can the passport include a map or checklist of our sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We can design an atlas page of your system so visitors can mark each site as they go. It's often the most-loved page in the book.

Question 5

Can you design stamp artwork to match the book?

Accepted Answer

Ask us about it in your quote request. Matching stamp artwork for each site makes your stamp stations feel like part of the same collection.

Question 6

Can we see and feel a passport before ordering?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ask in your quote request and we'll arrange a copy of one of our current passports so your team can judge the cover, paper and stamping quality firsthand.

Question 7

What's the minimum order?

Accepted Answer

Production runs start at 500 passports. If you need fewer, choose "Under 500" in the quote form and we'll price a small batch for you.

Question 8

How long does it take, and can you hit a date?

Accepted Answer

It depends on run size and season. Your quote includes a schedule with dates for proofs, printing and delivery. Tell us when you need passports on the shelf, for example before a season opening or a centennial, and we'll plan backward from that date.

Question 9

What can we customize?

Accepted Answer

Almost everything: the eco-leather cover color, the foil-stamped emblem, an illustrated spread for every site in your system, matching sticker sheets of your parks, flora and fauna, and a branded gift sleeve for retail display.

Question 10

Is there a design fee?

Accepted Answer

No. Our team handles the cover, page illustrations and stickers at no extra cost. It's built into the per-unit price.

Question 11

How does proofing and approval work?

Accepted Answer

You review digital proofs at each stage: cover, page layouts and stickers. Nothing goes to print until you sign off in writing, and revisions along the way are part of the process.

Question 12

Can we use our agency's logo or official insignia?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with approval from whoever controls the mark. Official emblems, such as the National Park Service Arrowhead, can only be used with that agency's authorization. We'll walk through that approval with you, or design an original emblem for your system instead.

Question 13

How is pricing structured?

Accepted Answer

Per-unit pricing is tiered by quantity and customization. Your quote breaks it out by run size so you can compare tiers side by side and choose what fits your budget.

Question 14

Can you work with purchase orders and vendor paperwork?

Accepted Answer

Tell us what your agency or cooperating association requires, such as a PO, vendor registration, W-9 or certificate of insurance. We'll work through your process with you.

Question 15

Are the pages made for park stamps?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The pages are thick and bleed-resistant, made for the ink cancellation stamps visitors collect at visitor centers and ranger stations, plus stickers, notes and taped-in photos. Each book is pocket-sized at 5.6″ × 4″.

Question 16

How do reorders work?

Accepted Answer

We keep your approved files on hand, so a reprint doesn't start from scratch. Ask for a reorder quote and tell us any updates, such as a newly added park or a new cover color.

Question 17

Where do I get park stamps?

Accepted Answer

Every national park has official passport stamps, usually at the visitor center, ranger station or park store. They're free, dated and unique to each place. Bring your passport and stamp the page for that park.

Question 18

When will my pre-order ship?

Accepted Answer

Pre-orders are scheduled to begin shipping in about a month. Your card holds your place in the first run, and we'll email tracking the day yours leaves our studio in Chandler, Arizona.

Question 19

How long does shipping take?

Accepted Answer

In-stock orders ship within 1–2 business days, with tracking sent by email.

Question 20

Can I add a gift note or the keepsake box?

Accepted Answer

Yes. At checkout you can add a signed note printed on a foil-edged card (+$10) and upgrade to the keepsake gift box with a gold bow and confetti (+$20).

Question 21

Do the passports come with stickers?

Accepted Answer

Every edition comes with its own vintage post-stamp sticker set: one for each national park, a flag, animal and flower for every state, or a flag for all 196 countries. Use them to mark a place complete, especially where there's no stamp to collect.

Question 22

What's the atlas page?

Accepted Answer

Each passport includes an atlas page, a zoomed-out map where you mark every place as you go. It turns the whole book into a real checklist you can see at a glance.

Question 23

How big is it?

Accepted Answer

5.6″ × 4″ × 0.5″. It slips into a back pocket, a daypack or a glovebox.

Question 24

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Accepted Answer

Yes. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address.

Question 25

What if something isn't right?

Accepted Answer

Return anything within 30 days of delivery, opened or unopened, for a refund. And for a full year, if anything goes wrong because of how it was made, we'll replace it. See shipping & returns.

Question 29

What is the National Park Passport?

Accepted Answer

A keepsake travel journal for collecting the free, dated ink stamps that national parks keep at their visitor centers and ranger stations. Park lovers have collected them since the 1980s, and every stamp marks the exact day you were there. Ours gives each of the 63 national parks its own illustrated spread, so every stamp lands on a page made for that place.

Question 30

What's on each page?

Accepted Answer

Each of the 63 parks gets an illustrated spread: the artwork on one side, and a full facing page for the official stamp, the park's sticker, a photo and your notes. Extra pages in the back hold monuments, historic sites, trails and overflow stamps.

Question 31

Where do I get the stamps?

Accepted Answer

Look for the passport cancellation stamps at visitor centers, ranger stations and park stores. They're free, dated the day you visit, and many parks have more than one, so a single trip can fill a page. Most stations keep scrap paper for a test stamp; use it to check the date and the ink first.

Question 32

What if a park has no stamp, or I visited years ago?

Accepted Answer

That's what the stickers are for. Every park has its own vintage post-stamp sticker: add it to the spread, write in the date and what you remember, and the page is complete. Many parks will also mail a cancellation if you ask; each park sets its own rules, so check its website.

Question 33

What's the atlas page (National Park Passport)?

Accepted Answer

A map of the national parks where you mark each one as you go. It turns the passport into a checklist you can see at a glance, and it's the page people love to show off.

Question 34

Which stickers come with it?

Accepted Answer

63 vintage post-stamp stickers, one for every national park, plus bonus "Must See" and heart stickers to mark your favorites. Refill sets are available in the shop.

Question 35

Do I have to visit all 63 parks?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. It isn't a race, and most people fill theirs over a lifetime. A half-finished map is its own kind of story: the trips you've taken, and the ones still waiting for you.

Question 36

Who is the National Park Passport for?

Accepted Answer

Families keeping a record of summer road trips, couples with a bucket list, retirees finally getting to the big ones, and solo travelers who want proof they went. If someone you love keeps talking about the parks, this is the gift.

Question 37

Is it good for kids?

Accepted Answer

Very. Kids love hunting for the stamp at each visitor center and choosing where the sticker goes. Every stop becomes a small mission, and the finished pages turn into their own record of growing up outdoors.

Question 38

How big is it, and will it hold up?

Accepted Answer

It's pocket-sized at 5.6″ × 4″ × 0.5″ with a weather-ready eco-leather cover, made to ride in a back pocket or daypack for years of trips.

Question 39

Will my stamps bleed through?

Accepted Answer

No. The 136 pages are thick, bleed-resistant paper made for real ink, heavy stamps and taped-in photos. Give fresh ink a minute to dry before you close the book.

Question 40

Which cover colors can I get, and when will it ship?

Accepted Answer

Navy is in stock and ships within 1–2 business days. Green, Brown, Pink and Black are on pre-order and scheduled to begin shipping in about a month; we'll email tracking the day yours ships.

Question 41

Does it make a good gift?

Accepted Answer

It's one of the best. It arrives in a foil-stamped gift sleeve, and at checkout you can add the keepsake gift box with a gold bow and a printed gift note signed in your own hand. Free shipping kicks in at $75.

Question 42

Is it an official National Park Service product?

Accepted Answer

No. Breaux Press is an independent small business, not affiliated with the National Park Service or any government agency. The passport is a keepsake journal, not an official document. The parks' cancellation stamps are free for any visitor to use, and they look right at home in our pages.

Question 43

Why a paper passport when I have photos on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Because a phone holds thousands of pictures and remembers none of them. A passport holds the stamp from the morning you got there, the sticker from the gift shop and a line in your own handwriting. Years later, it's the thing you'll actually pull off the shelf.

Question 44

Can I use it alongside the other passports?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many travelers keep the parks in this one, the states between them in the State Traveler, and everything past the border in the World Traveler. All three share the same pocket size.

Question 45

What if something isn't right (National Park Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Return it within 30 days of delivery, opened or unopened, for a refund. For one full year, if anything goes wrong because of how it was made, like loose binding or a page that comes free, we'll replace it. If it arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll replace it right away, shipping included.

Question 46

What is the State Traveler Passport?

Accepted Answer

A keepsake travel journal for the road trips between the parks. All 50 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. territories get their own illustrated spread, 56 in all, so every place you drive through gets a page of its own.

Question 47

What's on each page (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Each spread is illustrated for its state and lists the state animal and flower, with a full facing page for the state's stickers, a photo from the drive and your notes.

Question 48

Are there stamps to collect for states?

Accepted Answer

Not official ones; states don't stamp a passport the way national parks do. This one is about everything else you bring home: the state's flag, animal and flower stickers, a Polaroid from the drive, and the story in your own words. If you pass through a national park, there's room for its stamp too.

Question 49

What if I visited a state years ago?

Accepted Answer

Fill it in anyway. Add the state's stickers, write down the year and what you remember: the drive, the town, the diner. Old trips count, and they're often the best stories in the book.

Question 50

What's the atlas page (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

A map of the United States where you mark each state as you go, so you can watch the whole country fill in.

Question 51

Which stickers come with it (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Every state's flag, state animal and state flower, three stickers per state, plus bonus "Must See" and heart stickers to mark your favorites. Refill sets are available in the shop.

Question 52

Do I have to visit all 50 states?

Accepted Answer

No. Some people chase all fifty, some just keep the states they've lived in or loved. Every page you fill is a trip worth remembering.

Question 53

Who is the State Traveler for?

Accepted Answer

Road-trippers chasing all fifty, military and moving families who have lived everywhere, couples planning a cross-country drive, RV travelers, and kids learning the states one sticker at a time.

Question 54

Is it good for kids (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Very. Every spread names the state animal and flower, and the stickers give kids something to do at every state line. It quietly turns a long drive into a geography lesson.

Question 55

How big is it, and will it hold up (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

It's pocket-sized at 5.6″ × 4″ × 0.5″, the same size as the National Park Passport, with a deep green eco-leather cover and silver-foil emblem made to ride in a glovebox or daypack.

Question 56

What counts as visiting a state?

Accepted Answer

That's up to you, and it's half the fun. Some people count a layover, some need a meal, a night's sleep or a hike. Write your rule on the first page and stick to it, or argue about it in the car.

Question 57

Which cover colors can I get, and when will it ship (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Deep green is available to pre-order; the other cover colors are sold out for now. Pre-orders are scheduled to begin shipping in about a month, and we'll email tracking the day yours ships.

Question 58

Question 59

Is it an official state or government product?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All 50 states, Washington, D.C. and the U.S. territories, 56 spreads in all.

Question 61

Can I use it alongside the other passports (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Many travelers carry both: the national parks in the National Park Passport, everything between them in this one. The World Traveler takes over at the border. All three share the same pocket size.

Question 62

What if something isn't right (State Traveler Passport)?

Accepted Answer

Return it within 30 days of delivery, opened or unopened, for a refund. For one full year, if anything goes wrong because of how it was made, like loose binding or a page that comes free, we'll replace it. If it arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll replace it right away, shipping included.

Question 63

What is the World Traveler Passport?

Accepted Answer

Our International Edition: a keepsake travel journal for the trips abroad. Every country gets its own page for its flag sticker, the stamps you collect, a ticket stub, a photo and a few lines about the trip. Over time it becomes the one place your whole travel life lives.
